1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Munchies ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Munchies is a recipe discovery application that uses your device's camera to identify ingredients and suggest snack recipes. The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

• Munchies may offer auto-renewable subscription plans that provide access to premium features.
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan.
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service, or use the App for any unlawful purpose.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by TestMaxx LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that recipes will meet your dietary requirements. Always use your own judgment regarding food safety and allergies.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TestMaxx LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the App.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Munchies is designed with your privacy in mind. We collect minimal data to provide and improve the App experience.

• Camera Data: The App uses your device camera to scan and identify ingredients. Images are processed on-device and are not uploaded to our servers or stored beyond the active scanning session.
• Usage Analytics: We use Superwall to collect anonymized usage analytics such as feature engagement and subscription events. This data helps us improve the App and does not include personally identifiable information.
• Local Storage: Your preferences, saved recipes, and ingredient history are stored locally on your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide recipe suggestions based on scanned ingredients.
• To improve app performance and user experience through anonymized analytics.
• To manage subscriptions and in-app purchases.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Anonymized analytics data may be processed by our analytics partner (Superwall) to help us understand app usage patterns.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is primarily stored locally on your device. We do not maintain external databases of user content. We implement reasonable security measures to protect any data that is transmitted.

5. Camera Permissions

Munchies requests camera access solely for the purpose of scanning ingredients. You can revoke camera access at any time through your device settings. The App will not function fully without camera access but will not collect camera data without your explicit permission.

6. Children's Privacy

Munchies does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can promptly delete it.

7. Your Rights

You may request deletion of any data associated with your use of the App by contacting us. Since most data is stored locally on your device, deleting the App will remove the majority of your data.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy within the App.
